The studio is pleased to announce that Katrin Fridriks has been invited to join the collection of Miniature Museum of Contemporary Art.
This October 2017, the Museum celebrates its 25th anniversary.
On this occasion, Katrin Fridriks has created a miniature installation displaying 3 original artworks and a special art piece, made of mixed acrylic paint coming from residual found on her paint floor.
The collection can be visited at the Gemeente Museum in The Hague and counts almost 2000 miniature artworks created especially for the museum alongside so many inspiring names such as Lynn Chadwick, Jonathan Lasker, Edward Kienholz, Sam Francis, Christo, Dennis Oppenheim, George Baselitz, Roy Lichtenstein, Tetsumi Kudo, Karel Appel, Allan Jones, Louise Nevelson, Daniel Spoerri, Robert Mangold, Sandro Chia, A.R. Penck, Arman, Andres Serrano, Sol LeWitt, Günter Förg, Peter Beard, Annie Leibovitz, Panamarenko, Donald Beachler, Louise Bourgeois, Araki, Imi Knoebel, Damien Hirst and many more…
