You drive over the dunes and grass to a lovely, hidden expanse of fairway running to the green where one’s approach shot is heavily dependent on what the wind is doing. Jacket and tie is required throughout the Clubhouse from 11.00am, however golfinf attire is acceptable in the Snack Bar and terrace area all day. I am also grateful that the clubhouse is at the starting hole and then the end so that its presence is not overwhelming despite its beauty which I find equal to Muirfield’s clubhouse.
