Sometimes I come back home with ten bags. So I just grab some seasoning mix out of the pantry, do a little sprinkle or two (or three) and it’s time for more grown-up tater tots. 10 minutes, flip, 5 minutes more, and delicious! But if I had to use a box shredder, I might shred myself soon afterwards! I’m not sure. I did omit the oregano, parsley and dill as I wanted grocery store flavor. These look like the best tater tots I’ve ever seen! I cooked a batch in the oven and tried frying some. I’ve looked at three other tater tot recipes and found this one to be the best in my mind–when I imagine making them…. They were soooo yummy!!! This recipe was likely amazing with russet potatoes — I used red skinned potatoes (as russets and other dry/fluffy flesh potatoes are not available where I live), and they turned out a gluey, fall-apart-in-the-oil mess. OMG. Lots of garlic because the kids like it. Next time, I added some parmesan cheese. Back then all I needed was butter on my tots. How long did you cook them in the air fryer?

I can’t believe it. . Made these tonight the flavor was awesome but half of the batch blew up while cooking. Previous posts by other patrons of this website suggested using a piping bag to extrude the amalgamation. 5 russet potatoes approximate 1lbs yields 30 tots, Hi Chungah! at a time into the pot. Add-Ons, Chicken Wing Recipes Tots! I also used fresh dill instead of the dried one. From there, you can add in your desired seasonings, form them into tots, and throw them into some hot oil to let these babies get amazingly crisp and golden brown. I added flour and spices to my grated taters. Plain tater tots can get boring after a while. I finally give up and cooked them like potato pancakes. thank you for your idea. Now this recipe here does not require any special equipment like a potato mill or potato masher. I baked at 450 for twenty minutes and turned them after ten.
