So, for every cup of rice (150g), use 225g (mL) of water. I suspect that it will always be a little less good than rice that is soaked first (because Japanese cooks recommend this, and to me it makes sense that doing this will “open” up the rice texture to prepare it for cooking), but I guess it’s good news that if I’m in a hurry I can still get edible rice on the table without having to soak it first… and I haven’t even tried the “quick cook” option yet (kind of scared to, lol).
