With apartments, condos and many other housing options, the Glenwood South neighborhood is a good fit if you want all that downtown offers right at your doorstep. That was the best decision we made because that gave us time to 'investigate' all the local areas. Downtown Chapel Hill is my favorite Southern small town, if you dismiss it as just a (great) college town, you've really missed a lot.
