“New Wave & Gravity” reveals a complex vocabulary of forms and technical experiments, rooted within physical reality with a special focus on the law of gravity.

By generating the visions of waves and frequencies, the artist is giving the canvases underlying power. The paint is shot at the canvas at certain speed. That process forms compositions, which can be compared to a gravitational wave sensitivity curve.

Katrín Fridriks works are unique distillation of research on the relations between mass, speed and the distribution of the energy. Her works aspire to guide the viewer imagination to the otherworldly experience, beyond the gravity laws.
